Todd Cambio, also known as Fraulini guitars, may just be my favorite modern builder of acoustic guitars. Todd is a one man shop in Madison, WI and his creations faithfully capture the essence of the Italian-American luthiers of the teens and 20s in New York/New Jersey, such as Stella, Oscar Schmidt, Galiano, and Cerrito. His extensive experience in restoring these instruments informs his own building style and allows him to make thoughtful improvements to the original designs.

This is a very special example of his grand concert sized "Angelina" model. It is serial number 78 and is painted with a solution that contains a crushed 78 rpm record! It's one of the most interesting finishes I've come across. The top is even starting to look like an old record with the light play wear and grainlines beginning to sink in. It also has a pearloid headstock overlay and heelcap to add a touch of visual contrast.

The top is spruce and the back and sides are maple. The fretboard and the stylish pyramid bridge are rosewood. It is ladder braced like the guitars it was inspired by. Overall it is in excellent condition, the finish has some light wear and the frets are in good shape. Comes with the original hardshell case. This is a very rare and unusual version of one of Fraulini's most popular models.
