Fraulini Guitars, made by Todd Cambio in Madison Wisconsin, are some of our favorite modern instruments. Todd is a one man shop and his creations faithfully capture the essence of the guitars made by the Italian-American luthiers of the teens and 20s in New York/New Jersey. This guitar is a 26" long scale 12 string, similar to what was played by blues artists such as Lead Belly. They were made to be tuned down, giving it a deep rumbling tone not found in your typical 12 string. This example is amazingly light weight, responsive, and easy to play. It has the regular play wear and strum marks on the top and a well repaired center seam separation on the top. Todd is not taking any more orders so this is a rare opportunity to own one of his most coveted models at a fair price.
