Kalamazoos were Gibson's budget brand instruments during the Great Depression. Even though they weren't as fancy as their Gibson counterparts, they were still very well made and sound great. Some may even prefer the simple ladder braced tone! This is a great little vintage blues guitar, all necessary repairs have been completed and it's ready to go. All original including finish. Neck is a nice chunky V shape. Frets are in good shape. Neck has been reset, a minor crack on the top and the side have been repaired, the bridge plate has been reinforced. Very cool original firestripe pickguard. One of the best values in a vintage acoustic guitar now. Comes with a chip board case.
