Introduced in 1956, these little Duo Sonics were the two pickup version of the Musicmaster. They used the same bodies except an extra bridge pickup was added. The coolest part, in our opinion, is that the middle position is hum cancelling! A very useful feature that wasn't used in other Fender models for some reason. It's got all the pickup combinations you need and nothing you don't. The extra short 22.5" scale gives the strings a nice slinky feeling, making wide chords and bends a breeze. The scale length changed to 24" in 1964 and loses a bit of what makes it special. This one is very well preserved in all original and even includes the often missing bridge cover and original hard shell case.
