This is just about the cleanest and best sounding 50's Martin 00-18 we've come across. It's had all the necessary work done including a perfect neck reset and some minor fretwork. All you need to do is tune it up and play. The 00 is a somewhat overlooked model in the Martin lineup, it has the extra bass response you would get from the 000 yet it is still very compact and easy to carry around.  These 50's Martins were straight braced which give them a more balanced/ slightly midrange forward tone when compared with the earlier scalloped braced versions. Another feature we love about Martins from this era is the soft V profile neck which  works great for playing with your thumb over the top. Overall this is an excellent choice for an all around travel or recording guitar.
