This is a very well preserved example of a 50's Martin 0-18. The prominent grain lines on the top suggest it may be Adirondack spruce.  It's had a perfect neck reset performed by Brothers Music in PA so the playability is excellent. The tone is very warm and responsive with good balance across the strings. There are two minor cracks that have been neatly repaired, one on the top and another on the back. It is all original save for a couple of the pins. The neck profile has just the slightest hint of a V and is chunkier than the typical neck from this period, very comfortable for those who like to play with their thumb over the top. It is currently setup with Labella strings with medium-low action which works wonderfully for both fingerstyle and light strumming.
