This is the second High Spirit guitar we've had in the shop, we feel that they are some of the best value modern, American made instruments available today. These guitars are made by Connor Kelly in San Diego, California. What I love about his instruments is how cohesive the overall design is. The Flamingo Hawk is a strat style body but almost every part has been custom designed and manufactured. The pickups are made by Gemini in NYC and have a tone that is similar to a classic tele. The fretwork is flawless and the playability is perfect up the neck. If you're looking for a twist on classic Fender designs with modern playability and feel, it's hard to go wrong with this one.
