This is a beautiful reissue of one of the most sought after vintage Fender basses- a 1958 Precision with blonde finish over ash body, gold pickguard, and maple fingerboard. It sounds and feels as good as it looks. The body is nicely balanced and resonant, the neck is the vintage correct, wide flat profile. The pickup does a great job of replicating the vintage tone, it has a detailed and airy quality that is reminiscent of an upright bass. The setup is perfect; the neck is straight with the action set very low at 6/64"-5/64". It comes with the original tweed hard shell case and all the case candy including the certificate of authenticity. Overall this is one of the finest basses that Fender is putting out today.
