Wayne Henderson is perhaps the most celebrated modern luthier and his instruments are among the most coveted in the bluegrass world. This D-28 was previously owned by Seth Taylor, guitarist for Post Malone and Sarah Jarosz, who won it as a prize at Renofest 2009. The tone is similar to the pre-war Martin it is modeled after; the full dreadnaught body shape paired with the Adirondack spruce top provides a deep bass response and crisp high end. The Indian rosewood back adds just enough overtones to allow the notes to blend together without overwhelming the fundamentals. The neck has a more modern feel with a soft V profile and nicely rounded fingerboard edges. It is in like new condition and ready for you to put your mark on it. Overall this is one of the best modern interpretations of a classic bluegrass guitar.
