1933 is regarded as perhaps the best year for Gibson L-00's. It was the only year that solid linings were used instead of kerfed linings. The thinner lining effectively gives the top a larger surface area to vibrate, resulting in a deeper bass response compared to other small body guitars. It is in very clean condition overall. We've priced this one lower because it has a reproduction bridge with one corner that is lifting slightly and a cap over the original bridge plate. The bridge plate cap can be removed by a luthier if desired. It's had a clean neck reset in the past so it is in excellent playing shape and sounds amazing. No cracks! You can play it as is and do the repairs later on to maximize the value. Either way, this is a great deal on a very clean example of one of the most desirable Gibson flat tops.
