This is a truly one of a kind custom instrument by my friend and bass luthier, R. Hyde. Ryan is a former builder at Ken Smith basses and has over 20 years experience in the industry. He pulled out all the stops for this one. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none and all the hardware and electronics used are top notch. The first thing that stands out is all the woods and laminations used throughout the construction. It features a walnut body with flamed maple veneer and curly walnut top. Bloodwood and maple accents. The neck is a 3 piece laminate of flamed maple/ wenge/ flamed maple topped with an ebony fingerboard. It has a very solid feel and beautiful sustain.

The pickups are custom wound Avedissian humbuckers and all wiring and pots are Alessandro. There are volume and tone controls for each pickup. The red switch is a three way pickup selector and the yellow and green switches are series/parallel selectors for each pickup.  Hipshot 2-point bridge, Hipshot ultralite tuners, and schaller strap locks round out the hardware. It comes in a sturdy gig bag.

Overall this is a great opportunity to own a top of line bass from a great modern luthier.
