This HG-00 is a great option if you're looking for a 12 fret L-00 Gibson on a budget. Originally, these were made for Hawaiian style playing but this one was expertly converted for regular spanish style playing. The action is nice and low, and the saddle still has plenty of room for further adjustment. The added benefit of a Hawaiian conversion is the big chunky neck profile which gives it extra stability and transfers more string energy into the body for a fuller tone. The wider 1 7/8" nut width is ideal for players with bigger hands or someone who prefers wider string spacing. The tone is woody and warm like a classic '30's Gibson. It is also in excellent cosmetic condition, the frets have practically no wear, the top has no cracks, the back just has two minor repaired cracks by the seam. Overall, this would be a good option for fingerpickers who also like to do some light strumming.
