These made in Japan "Red Label" Yamaha acoustics have been underrated for years but are finally starting to get the recognition they deserve. The construction quality is great, even after 50 plus years it still doesn't need a neck reset! The FG-110 has a small body measuring 15" across the lower bout, roughly the same size as a Martin OM. The tone is full and fundamental without much overtones. It works well when you're playing with others or recording as the frequencies don't overlap with other instruments. It also sounds great for blues, the tone is similar to ladder braced guitars like Stellas or Kalamazoos. The neck is very comfortable with just a hint of a V profile.

Condition is excellent, no cracks anywhere. Frets are in good shape. Still plenty of saddle left, doesn't need a neck reset. Overall a great sounding instrument and a affordable entry point into the world of vintage guitars.
