There's no doubt a vintage guitar sounds good when it looks as played in as this one. Most of the finish on the back of the neck has been worn off as is the finish on the top where your arm would rest. Despite this, there is no damage from abuse, only the typical crack from the pickguard shrinking. It was clearly loved and taken care of by the previous owner. The tone is warmer and more mellow than a typical Martin, almost reminiscent of a Gibson. All the necessary repairs have been done and is ready to gig, it even has a passive K&K pickup that drops into the original endpin hole without modification.
