This U-2 has certainly lived a life! It was previously used for years in a studio where some of the  players would smoke. We gave it a thorough cleaning and setup, our goal is to preserve its history while bringing the playability up to modern standards. It has plenty of patina on the body and nearly all the finish has been worn off the back of the neck, revealing the bare wood underneath. The guitar has also been professionally refretted recently so it feels better than many other examples on the market.

The U-2 may just be the most versatile model in the Danelectro line up. It features two lipstick pickups with concentric stacked volume/tone knobs and a three way selector switch. The front of the headstock has been refinished and newer tuners were installed which is great for tuning stability. It is essentially a single cutaway version of the guitar Jimmy page used. This would be a very nice addition to any player's studio or touring arsenal.
