Todd Cambio of Fraulini guitars makes some of the best modern interpretations of the 1920's Stella and Galiano style guitars. The Angelina is his 15" concert size model and this one is special because it features a 26.5" long scale that is designed to be tuned down. It sounds great in D standard and even C standard tuning. All domestic woods were used including hemlock for the top, oak for the back and sides, and poplar for the neck.  The varnish finish gives it a broken in feel like an old violin. The very substantial neck profile (2" wide at the nut, and 0.96" deep at the 1st fret) feels great and contributes to the robust, direct tone. This is a very special instrument that captures the essence of old blues guitars but with all the modern improvements for today's player.
