This is a great sounding Kalamazoo KG-14's and it's been fully gone over by luthier Reonda in NYC. These budget ladder braced guitars, made by Gibson, have a tone that is completely different than your typical X braced guitar- very punchy and fundamental with lots of volume and projection. The action is nice and comfortable at 3/32-2/32. These budget guitars often don't get the same kind of respect as their more expensive Gibson counterparts but people are starting to catch on. It is very rare to find one in such clean, original, untouched condition. One minor split on the back was cleanly repaired. It even came with the original saddle that had been slotted to bring down the action. This was most likely by the original owner not long after it had been purchased. We decided to keep the saddle as it is still functional and is part of the instrument's history. The original frets are in great shape with practically no wear. It comes complete with the original Geib chipboard case!
