This is an excellent playing and sounding early production Kalamazoo KG-11. It features solid linings, instead of the typical kerfed linings, which was only seen on a few Gibson models from 1933. This was most likely a cost saving measure at the time but the reduced surface area allows more of the top to vibrate, giving it a louder bass response than most guitars of its size. It has now become a very sought after feature on L-00's which go for as much as three times more. Other features from this era include the tapered headstock and small "tennis ball" sunburst. 

It's had all the repairs done, and is ready to play. It's had a neck reset in the past so the action is low up the neck. It is in very clean shape apart from a small repaired crunch on the top by where the forearm would rest. The original frets have almost no wear. The tuners are drop in replacements from golden age restoration, the originals are included in the case. It also comes with the original chipboard Geib case which is very rare to see. It is strung with lighter 11 gauge strings; the lower tension works very well with the ladder bracing and gives it a more open, lively sound. Overall it is a great entry point into the world of vintage guitars, early examples in good shape are becoming harder to come by.
