The mahogany neck Phase II Hi-Flier is the most desirable and collectable version of the 70's Japanese Mosrite copy from Univox. This is the same version that was played by Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain. It is supposedly the guitar that was used to record "In Utero". The single coil pickups have a very distinctive twangy, airy tone. This example is in excellent condition with perfect playability up the neck. All electronics work properly. The rare black finish with white pickguard gives it a sharp look. It has a thin body and is super light weight at only 6.37 pounds! Comes with a gig bag. Overall it is a great feeling guitar with an awesome surf grunge tone.
