It doesn't get much cooler than a black 30's L-00 with a firestripe pickguard. This one's been completely gone over by Dave Strunk of Brothers Music. He performed a neck reset, dressed the original frets, neatly repaired two cracks on the top, reglued loose braces, and made a new bone nut. It's featherlight and is amazingly loud yet responsive. These original L-00's are arguably some of the best guitars you can get for playing fingerstyle blues. This one can also be driven hard with a pick and has plenty of headroom.
The neck has a beefy V profile with a generous 1 3/4" nut. It measures 0.96" at the first fret tapering up to 1.03" at the 7th fret. It's a great feeling neck for those who prefer to wrap their thumb over the top.
This is one of the most desirable variations of the classic L-00 with all the highest quality repair work done. Comes with a modern hard shell case.
