This is for sure the nicest Kalamazoo KG-14 on the market right now. These were considered budget guitars back in the day so they're often mistreated and come with some nasty damage or cheap repairs. This one arrived at the shop in very clean, original condition, so we sent it to Dave Strunk for a neck reset and compression refret. It now has a perfect neck angle with plenty of saddle height and a nice straight neck. The tone is very dry and punchy, just what you want from an old ladder braced blues guitar. It has a great feeling, substantial V neck. They didn't have adjustable truss rods so they were built with larger necks than their Gibson counterparts to withstand the string tension. The original firestrip pickguard shows off the sunburst finish underneath. There are no cracks anywhere, only very light buckle wear to the back. Comes with a new hardshell case. A model example of a depression era Kalamazoo.
