We're very excited to have this beautiful Verso Cosmo in a brand new color- Ultramarine Blue, fresh from NAMM. Germany based Verso, has designed something completely fresh. The most striking feature is the body- a flat sheet of steel that has been folded over to form a comfortable curve at the top for the arm and a "B" shape at the bottom which fits securely in the lap. The two SCII single coils pickups are attached to the body magnetically and can be freely positioned for an infinite variety of tones. The tone is surprisingly woody and warm in contrast to its modern appearance. Rather than a pickup selector, it uses a blend knob so you can get each pickup separately or find the perfect mix between the two. Another great feature is the switch that allows you to flip between mono and stereo output. The stereo option splits the signal of the pickups so you can route each pickup into separate FX chains or record two tracks in your DAW.

The neck through construction gives the instrument a very solid feel in hand and adds to the overall sustain. The neck is made from a beautiful cut of reclaimed Douglas Fir from the 1960's. The grain is remarkably straight and defined. The fretwork and setup is done perfectly with neatly rounded hemispherical fret ends.

It comes with a sturdy new Mono gigbag. Overall this is a beautiful instrument and functional work of art that is sure to inspire new songs and ideas.
