Now time for something a little different! High Spirit Guitars are made by Connor Kelly in San Diego, California. What I love about his instruments is how cohesive the overall design is. The Flamingohawk is a strat style body but almost every part has been custom designed and manufactured. He winds the pickups and mills the covers himself. The bridge and tailpiece are also his own designs. The build quality and playability are also excellent. The swamp ash body and flamed maple neck is a great looking and lightweight (6.3 lbs!) combination, reminiscent of a Mary Kaye strat. The quality you're getting for the price is unbeatable.
