This is a great entry point into the world of vintage acoustics for any player looking for a smaller guitar to travel with or just strum on the couch. It has a dry midrange forward tone perfect for fingerpicking blues and single line melodies thanks to its ladder bracing. The early 50's was a great time for Gibson acoustics in terms of build quality and tone. The top is crack free, the back has two cracks that have been well repaired. The neck angle is excellent and the frets are also in great shape with hardly any wear. The action is currently setup low for fingerpicking. An excellent value for a vintage Gibson acoustic. Comes complete with a 60's Gibson hardshell case!
