Founded by Charles Eilenberg in 1947, Alamo was a manufacturer of guitars and amplifiers based in San Antonio, TX. They are definitely a hidden gem in the world of vintage guitars. Introduced in 1965, the Fiesta was a series of hollow-core electric guitars offered in single, dual, and triple pickup configurations. The line was short lived; they were removed from the catalog in 1967. The design is reminiscent of Danelectros of the era with its simple hollow-core, bolt on construction.

The single pickup is surprisingly versatile and the switch acts as a tone bypass. The pickups were manufactured in house and produce a tone similar to Gretsch Dynasonics, they are fairly high output with a dark, airy quality. The neck is a comfortable chunky C to soft V profile. Overall these Alamos are great sounding little guitars and represent an excellent value in the vintage electric market.
