This is a great no frills, straight ahead telecaster for the player. It features a wide nut that measures just over 1 11/16" so it would be perfect for someone who prefers having more room. The neck profile is fairly slim with a soft V shape. The frets were leveled and polished in the past so it plays cleanly up the neck. The tones are exactly what you would want and expect from a telecaster- the bridge pickup is bright with lots of bite, perfect for leads and chicken pickin. The neck is warm but still airy and clear. The pots were replaced with 500k pots at some point during its life which adds to the high end clarity. It comes with the original hard shell case. Overall this is a great deal for someone looking to get into a vintage tele without breaking the bank.
